Today Canon Europe launches the EOS M50 Mark II camera. Part of its smaller APS-C mirrorless line-up, this camera adds a few new features, designed to appeal to the new generation of social content creators, and inherits a few others from Canon's recent focusing developments, such as its Eye detection technology.
The successor to the EOS M50 was originally announced back in October 2020, with a limited launch only in certain regions (USA and Asia). At the time, a spokesperson for Canon UK stated that there were no immediate plans to release the EOS M50 Mark II in the European markets.
Key features include:
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for creating and sharing content
• Vertical video feature
• Clean HDMI output for direct livestreaming from YouTube
• 24.1MP APS-C sensor and Full HD video
• Vari-angle touchscreen display
• 3.5mm microphone input
The EOS M50 Mark II will be available from the end of March 2021 for £589.99 / €659.99.
