EOS R6 firmware update 1.9.0

 Firmware Version 1.9.0  for the EOS R6 incorporates the following enhancements and fixes: 1. Enables functions to be used without limitation in conjunction with the new Battery Pack LP-E6P. This makes it possible to shoot at the same continuous shooting speed as when using LP-E6NH. 2. In-camera charging of LP-E6P is also supported. 3. The following issues have been fixed.  3-1. Fixes an issue, in which when shooting subjects that are smaller in the frame, the card access indicator blinks and operations can no longer be performed.  3-2. Fixes an issue, in which when performing shooting in high-speed continuous shooting + mode with the [Highlight Tone Priority] option set to [ON], focus may not be achieved when certain ISO speed settings are used. Revised firmware for EOS R6

A few days after firmware version 1.8.0 was released for the EOS R6 it was stopped from downloading. Canon confirmed that Err 70 was being displayed under certain conditions. Customers who have already updated to version 1.8.0 are advised to  update to version 1.8.1, now available. The new firmware fixes the Err 70 issue and minor bugs and includes the following: •  You can trim and resize images while transferring them to an FTP server. Firmware updates for EOS R5, R6, R, Ra and RP cameras

Canon has released various firmware updates for its EOS R system, which primarily make the R-series cameras compatible with recently released products, such as the Speedlite EL-1 and selected new RF lenses announced this year. EOS R5 and R6 Firmware Version 1.2.0 incorporates the following enhancements and fixes: 1. When using high-speed or low-speed continuous shooting modes, in Drive Mode with [High Speed Display: OFF], the visibility of the subject within the frame has been improved when shooting moving objects. During continuous shooting black frames will be inserted between frames in the viewfinder and live view. This will improve the visibility of moving subjects in live view and in the viewfinder. 2. Adds the [Auto] setting to the [Viewfinder brightness] menu that will brighten and dim based on ambient light conditions. 3.
