Canon has released details today of three new and updated accessories for the EOS system. • Bluetooth Remote BR-E2 This updated wireless remote for the EOS system is physically the same size as its predecessor, but offers extra functionality. It's backwards-compatible and usefully can be registered to up to five cameras at a time, though it can still only control one at a time. The BR-E2 offers a separate video recording button in addition to the two-stage shutter button. There's also a lever in the centre which can be used to operate the lens zoom or for adjusting exposure compensation, which replaces the buttons on the BR-E1. Furthermore there are two remote function buttons which are customisable (functions vary by camera). The Bluetooth remote BR-E2 will be priced at £74.99 / €84.99.
