Firmware version 1.0.1 for the EOS M50 Mark II incorporates the following fix: 1. Fixes an issue in which after the camera is connected to the smartphone application 'Camera Connect', there are instances that the power of the camera cannot be turned on temporarily. Firmware update for Canon RF 70-200mm f4L lens

Canon has released firmware version 1.1.0 for the RF 70-200mm f4L IS USM lens, which incorporates the following enhancements and fixes: 1. Adds an electronic full-time manual focus function (a function that enables constant manual focus adjustment in both One-shot AF and Servo AF), which is enabled when using the EOS R5, EOS R6, and EOS R3 cameras. 2. Improves an issue in which the background is not blurred when performing slow panning with the IS (Image Stabilization) mode set to Mode 2 or Mode 3. Firmware version 1.1.0 is for lenses with firmware up to  version 1.0.8. If the lens' firmware is already version 1.1.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware. You can check the firmware version of the lens from the camera menu. Refer to the camera instruction manual for how to check the current firmware version. Project Dragonfly expands with a further 120 Canon EF 400mm lenses

Canon U.S.A. Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced the company will provide technical assistance once again to Project Dragonfly, an international research team from Yale University, and the University of Toronto, in its plan to expand the Dragonfly Telephoto Array. The company will provide the project with 120 Canon EF 400mm f2.8L IS II USM large-aperture super-telephoto single-focal length lenses, and its parent company, Canon Inc., will provide technical assistance. The Dragonfly Telephoto Array is a telescope array equipped with multiple Canon large-aperture super-telephoto single focal length lenses – specifically, the Canon EF 400mm f2.8L IS II USM lens. The telescope was designed in 2013 by Project Dragonfly, an international research team from Yale University and the University of Toronto.
