Canon today announces two brand new lenses, further extending its RF line-up for the EOS R mirrorless system. The RF 16mm f2.8 is a compact and lightweight wide-angle prime lens that brings a new perspective to the line-up. Offering a wide angle and aperture, it's a versatile option for a range of disciplines. Whether you are a content creator or vlogger, or photographer shooting landscapes, candids or street scenes, this lens will produce an extra-wide field-of-view and exaggerated sense of depth. The RF 16mm uses an aspherical lens to reduce bulk and Super Spectra coating to minimise flare and ghosting. It's incredibly compact, almost identical in size to the nifty fifty.
