Canon has released a firmware update for its smallest current DSLR camera, the EOS 200D (Rebel SL2). Firmware Version 1.0.1 incorporates the following fix: 1. Corrects an erroneous display that may appear when some third-party accessories are attached to the hot shoe. Firmware Version 1.0.1 is for cameras with firmware Version 1.0.0. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.0.1, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Download firmware from Canon UK website

Canon has updated its key camera software applications to include up-to-date compatibility with new EOS cameras and other recent changes, as follows: Digital Photo Professional Changes for Digital Photo Professional (DPP) version 4.6.30: - Supports EOS 6D Mark II and EOS 200D (EOS Kiss X9 / EOS REBEL SL2), EOS-1D, EOS-1Ds. - Adds a function for reducing color moiré. - Supports the EOS 5D Mark IV Canon Log specification.
