Canon iMAGE GATEWAY upgrade planned

Canon has announced that, in March 2020, it will substantially revamp its existing Canon iMAGE GATEWAY online photography service, with plans to strengthen its connectivity and compatibility with products and other services, and provide services to help customers manage and use their images. The revamped service will have a new name and improved functions – further details will be shared in February 2020. To make way for this service, the current Canon iMAGE GATEWAY service will close in mid-March 2020 and later that month all image files and albums will be available for access with the upgraded service. During the service transition period, the web service image transmission function on Wi-Fi enabled cameras will be disabled. After the launch of the upgraded service and upon acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions, it will be available again. RF 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM firmware upgrade

In December 2019, Canon reported: " It has been confirmed that when using the RF70-200mm f2.8L IS USM to perform AF shooting to capture a subject at close-range with the focus distance approximately set to the tele-end (200mm), the image may become slightly front-focused.
