Exclusive Interview with Canon Europe's Mike Burnhill

AA:Where is Canon heading with the EOS R system?

MB: That's still to be defined, but the plan is to develop the system in both directions. With the EOS RP we've gone towards an entry-level full-frame camera, which is a very large market. It was a bit of curve ball because everyone seemed to have expected a high-end model.

Digital Photo Professional updated with new Depth Compositing feature

Digital Photo Professional, Canon's own RAW editing software, has been updated to version 4.10.0. This latest version adds a new Depth Compositing function for images captured via the new Focus Bracketing feature introduced on the EOS RP, Canon's new full frame mirrorless camera for advanced amateur and enthusiast photographers.

Canon says that the Depth Compositing function is also compatible with images captured on the EOS 5D Mark IV and EOS R.
