Alongside the two new EOS DSLRs announced today – which both feature Bluetooth connectivity – Canon launches the Remote Controller BR-E1. Offering the same features as the popular Canon RC-6, this new remote has the advantage of firing the camera shutter for both stills and movies from any angle within a 5 metre radius of compatible cameras thanks to Bluetooth technology, unlike the RC-6's need for line-of-site with its infrared beam.
At launch the BR-E1 is compatible with the EOS 77D and EOS 800D.
Remote Controller BR-E1 key features:
• Bluetooth® connectivity
• 5m range from all directions
• Easy-to-find controls
• Capture images and movies
• Focus and zoom controls
The Remote Controller BR-E1 will be available from April 2017 with an RRP of £39.99 / €49.99.
