Firmware updates for several EOS cameras

Canon has released a number of firmware updates to correct for a phenomenon in which when using an EOS camera with the EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 IS II USM lens, even if lens aberration correction is set to 'Enable', no correction will be applied.

The affected cameras and the new firmware update is listed below:

EOS 6D, firmware 1.1.7
EOS 7D, firmware 2.0.6
EOS 70D, firmware 1.1.2
EOS 60D, firmware 1.1.2
EOS 700D, firmware 1.1.5
EOS 650D, firmware 1.0.5
EOS 550D, firmware 1.1.0
EOS 500D, firmware 1.1.2
EOS 1300D, firmware 1.0.2
EOS 1200D, firmware 1.0.2
EOS 1100D, firmware 1.0.6
EOS 100D, firmware 1.0.1
EOS M, firmware 2.0.3
