Canon's Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software has been updated. The latest version of this versatile raw converter is 3.13.45.
Changes from the previous version are:
- now supports images taken with EOS 70D, EOS 100D / EOS Rebel SL1 / EOS Kiss X7, PowerShot G16, PowerShot S120.
- supports new lenses EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS STM, EF 200-400mm f4L IS USM Extender 1.4X, EF-M 11-22mm f4-5.6 IS STM).
- the accuracy of white balance in M-RAW and S-RAW images has been improved.
Interestingly, the help section of the software makes mention of an EOS M2 camera, implying that an update to the EOS M camera is not too far away.
You can download the update by going to the Canon Support Centre (Europe)
or Canon Support (USA)
