Today Canon officially unveils the EOS R3, its new flagship full frame mirrorless camera aimed at sports photographers and reportage journalists. It's fast and furious, incredibly well-connected and offers more than 100 tweaks, improvements and new features over previous cameras. The EOS R3 is a blend of the EOS-1D X Mark III and the EOS R5. It can shoot at 30 frames per second, record 6K video, track people, animals and also motorsport vehicles across all areas. Eye Control gives you a new(ish) way to control your AF points. As well as a multi controller and smart controller, you can now just look at your subject through the viewfinder and eight iREDs will utilise your eye movement to acquire your subject. It's the first EOS camera to utilise a backside illuminated stacked CMOS sensor – and it's one of the key factors that enables such a step-up in power and speed.
